- Owner can make calls without cash by using a PIN number or the key.
- Cash taken can be shown on LCD display; since last empty and since phone was installed. LCD also shows number dailled and amount of cash left as call progresses.
- Comprehensive call barring facility. 12 types of calls can be barred (or unbarred).
- Redial button for last number.
- Fake coins or tokens can be barred. Also old UK coins can be barred (e.g. old 50p).
- Incoming calls can be barred.
- The ringer (bell) can be set to High, Low or OFF.
- You can set the phone to withhold your number from people you are calling.
- Identification tone can be set to on or off. This tone alerts the operator on incoming calls that it is a payphone and reverse charge calls will not be connected.
- Operator tone can be set to on or off. For outgoing calls this alerts the operator it is a payphone and calls will not be connected or transferred via the operator.
- The phone has a privacy feature. This allows you to set whether another phone on the same line can overhear your call and whether the other phone can take over the call.
- The phone may be used on a telephone system, or on BT featureline that requires an access code before dialling. This can be set so the phone dials the access code automatically or you can dial the access code manually.
- You can reduce or increase the time you get for 9 types of calls. You can also reduce or increase the minimum fee required to start a call to 10p, 20p, 50 or £1.
- New coins or tokens can be learnt by the phone - you can set the value of tokens.
- You can set exceptions to the dailling codes. e.g you could set a number starting 01.. as a local call.
- Calls to Directory Inquiry numbers are set at a fixed fee. You can increase or decrease this amount. Or turn it off.
- There are two memory buttons you can preset with a number of your choice. You can set these numbers at any of the standard rates or at a fixed fee. There is a facility to write these numbers on the phone.
- You can set the time and day on the phone so it charges correctly. You can also change the PIN number and set the dailling mode to Tone or Pulse. You can also reset the phone to a default PIN number if you lose or forget it.
